Alicedale Cobhouse Accommodation

Alicedale Self Catering Accommodation is situated on a farm just 3 kilometers outside Alicedale, just an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth. This is the ideal base for visiting game reserves like Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve or playing golf at Bushman Sands Hotel and Golf Course.

Grahamstown is just a 40 minute drive away if you would like to attend the National Arts Festival. Go back to basics and come and relax close to nature.

• The Cobhouse has 3 en suite (toilet, basin, shower) bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people.
• The house is fully equipped for self-catering, with an indoor fireplace/braai and outside braai area.
• There is no electricity however, we have solar power, a gas stove and fridge/freezer and battery-powered lights.
• Firewood and bed linen are provided but bring your own towels.
• Game viewing can be done on the farm if you have an off-road vehicle, but it is possible to view the game from the house.
• We have a hiking trail and hunting in the area can also be arranged.
